I need some help/advise.
I was given an old Bondi iMac (not sure if its rev A or B), but it had the original 4gig HD, and someone upgraded the ram to 196 megs.
I installed 512 ram, and the HD to 120 gig (maxtor) and replaced the battery. The insides were filthy, and didn't look like it had ever been cleaned. I dusted and blew canned air where I could.
I put it all back to gather and . . . nothing, no power, no start, no nothing! I have been thru it 3 times trying to figure it out. No luck.

I've had an iMac since 1998 (rev B). Have had it open several times over the years upgrading the memory and HD, and trying to keep it clean and it runs really great, pretty much error free. It now runs the latest version of OS X.

So now I have this second iMac and thought I would just go ahead and add a little pep to it and network it with my original.

I would really appreciate the help. I don't want to take up a lot of space here in the digest so maybe eMail would work best.

Thanks,
Chuck Moss
