I agree on the clock ticking thing. I have a Bondi G3
233MHz too. I think I'm the third owner of this
particular machine. I recently upgraded it with a
333MHz processor and that's certainly made it a bit
quicker off the mark. My tend have the screen flicker
once or twice after an hour or more of operation. If
I'm going to use it for a long time, I'll turn it on
in the morning, then put it to sleep. This seems to
limit the flicker effect when I come to actually use
it later.
I can't stand the irritating fan noise and the weedy
little speakers though. On the whole, i'll enjoy it
while it last, until the day it gives in. In the
meantime I find its got plenty of power for the meagre
use I put it to, and it looks cool all the while.
