I replaced the J1/Top a couple of years ago, and at that time found the pin configuration different on the two memories. The little slot is offset, too -- I was told the 32 in the bottom slot was an Apple proprietary stick...

I know I can up my Top slot to 256 pretty easily -- but ideally I'd like to boost up to the max of 512 -- 256 per.

I'm scared to death to buy the WRONG memory, over the Internet or otherwise -- I don't want to be out almost $100 on something I can't use...

Thanks in advance for any help at all -- I've looked everywhere on the Internet and asked everyone I know about this...
