I know, you're right. What I really want is some real estate, like 20" or more.
But if I ever revive a Ruby iMac I have (I'll be posting about this later), it could be drafted and justify the immediate use of the Mac mini without shelling out mega bucks for a new monitor! Someone else kindly commented on the fact that it would be a real mod or hack to use the CRT of the iMac.
When/if I have the $$$, I'll be ready to put my G3 iMacs to use as art objects and enjoy some real screen real estate.
