Correct, but also to clarify, I tested and was able to do this using an EXTERNAL CRT. My iMac's internal CRT is dead. So I can't say for sure if it would have let me do it if I was using the internal CRT (it might have, for all I know I get the same settings presented to me regardless of the fact that my internal CRT doesn't power up).
