Apple refered to their version of video connectors as RGB (DA-15
connector, 15 pins, two rows in a D-Shell).

The connector on all the earlier macs, was thus refered to as "RGB". PC's
on the other hand had their video refered to as "VGA" (at least those
that used that standard). Although the two can be made to be compatible,
they are not without some kind of an adaptor. You can't just plug an
"RGB" monitor into a "VGA" port and vice versa.

The Rev A-D (tray load) has an RGB connector, ie: the same style that all
the other early Macs have. Some of the later slot load models have an
external VGA connector (DE-15, 15 pins, 3 rows in a D-Shell connector).

Thus, my statement is correct, even if it appears to not make sense from
some viewpoints. I converted the video from the iMac's "RGB" connector,
to a standard PC "VGA" connector.
