NO NO NO NO NO!!! DO NOT bounce the email back to the spammer. Spammers hit and run. By the time you get the email, they are gone. The address you bounce it back to doesn't exist. All you are doing is creating that much more load on the mail servers. The spammer won't see it. The spammer won't be bothered by it. All you do is make a poor mail admin's job harder. If an address does exist that a spammer used, chances are it exists because they took one of the addresses in their list and claimed all the emails were from them. So if you are successful in a bounce, you are likely just flooding some poor innocent person's mail box. So all in all, the best thing you can do to spam, ignore it and throw it out. Set up some rules to filter it right to your trash can, and if your ISP has a way to track spam, help them do it so they can set up server side rules and block the spammer before they can even get to the mail server.
