I am ready to install my new Harmoni card, into my Rev B iMac. A few
questions...

According to the installation instructions, I have to install software
prior to hardware. I am putting a new hard drive in at the same time as
the upgrade card. Does this mean that I have to put in the new hard
drive, install the OS, install the software, then disassemble the iMac
again to install the hardware upgrade?

Is there any way around this?

I would not look for a way around this. I had a disaster for a while... black screen and lots of manipulations... finally hitting the reset button inside to get a restart. And that only with getting the Harmoni card out of there to get that restart. I also had a bad card which the company took back. The firewire harness was screwed up. One of the more difficult installations.
