Hello everyone. I have a imac 400. I really enjoy my machine. I recently
purchased a Phillips dvd burner. I have the driver disk, but am unsure of
how to add the burner. I did just plud it up and turned the imac on. It
recognized the device, but as a player. Could not get it pay the movie.
Please could anyone help. I am trapped in Microsoft country.
I don't think USB 1.1 is anywhere near fast enough for DVD playback. With an iMac 400, you'd need a Firewire drive.
Right, folks?
Miche.
