What was the purpose of the infrared sensor on the original iMac? Was it really used for something? Still useful, or more of an interesting tidbit today?
Worked quite well (if slowly) with Palm Pilots, and could also be used with IR mice (perhaps Apple was thinking that would take off, but it didn't).
