I think so, I have a feeling the CRT's only have the one video source, 
and the external is nothing more then a tap off the internal video feed. 
The video system itself probably can't handle higher then 1024 x 768.

But I figured I'd ask anyway, just in case anyone knew of a way to push 
it to 1280 x 1024.
