He is not flush with money! Most of what he obtains he barters for; so the printer was bartered at a garage sale and the G3 came to him from a friend who was upgrading to a G4 He gets extra $ by bartering back and forth, and selling his charcoal sketches.
PhotoShop might be a bit too much too pay for right now. However, someone on the list did say they would send PhotoShop 5 LE, i would suggest getting that from them.
My point is this; if the person needs help, he'll ask.
i would suggest maybe subscribing him to the iMac list so he can ask questions as well.
