Hi,

I am at my wits end with my iMac 333mhz internal modem. It was running
perfectly with my dialup isp. Than the next day I am experiencing
disconnects and errors. Also it appears to connect but Mozilla won't load
any pages. Another weird thing Mozilla is doing is saying "resolving host"
in the status bar when I try to click on a link or bookmark.

I have reloaded OS 9.2.2 as a fresh install. Zapped the pram and reloaded
all isp information as well as take the iMac to another house to rule out
the phone lines. Nothing has helped.

The errors I am getting are:

PPP Negotiation Failed

Connection attempt failed: The remote access port is busy

and in ZTerm:

Port is in use opening port

Does this sound like a bad internal modem?

Please help,

MaxTek
