I have Apple's for my G5. Love them. I have a few minor annoyances, but nothing serious ... if I were a magazine reviewer, it would be like the difference between a 96% and 99% score. > I have never used a Bluetooth mouse. Keep a spare USB mouse handy. When the batteries die and connection is lost, reconnection doesn't happen after putting in a new pair ... or never did for me, am I just not waiting long enough? One thing you can't do quite so well is pick up the mouse mid-drag. The little finger-grips don't feel as solidly set as on the regular mouse. Not saying they'll snap off, but with the old mouse I could easily pick up the mouse in the middle of a drag and not lose the click. With the BT mouse, pressing on the grips actually squeezes the "button" into the open position. Just to note, the batteries that came with the mouse lasted about 2 months for me. And after that, I change them maybe once every week and a half, probably because I'm using a set of NiMH rechargeables that are on their last legs. The keyboard batteries have been going strong for 5 months. A low power warning came up 3 days ago and I'm surprised it hasn't dropped connection yet, (when I get a power warning on the mouse, it's usually dead by the end of the evening.) > Is the keyboard the same as the current iMac/G5 ? > (a bit cheaper feel than the "old" Pro-keyboard) > Any opinions gratefully received. Feels fine, though the bottom row of keys sometimes feel like they're rubbing against something. Mostly noticable when I'm playing games. -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
