Not really, because at this point I'm in over my head.

I was thinking (because I was under the impression that MacAlly didn't make BT mice) that you were confused and had a "wireless" mouse that is not Bluetooth. I have since been disabused of that notion. :)

So, my speculation that you need a specific system preference panel is probably 100% wrong. Most likely, you just need to "pair" the mouse with your computer.

For information about pairing, go to the Bluetooth system preference panel and look for a ? button somewhere on it. That will bring up the help files you need.
