While some are splitting hairs over music encoding and copyright
realities, I'm enjoying tunes with MacAmp 2. Thanks, David! It's a
nice alternative to iTunes 2, which I also like.
FWIW, I currently prefer Audion and SoundApp, both free. I find
that iTunes and MacAmp unnecessarily bog my PowerMac 7300/180 when
playing higher bit rate mp3's. And Audion is great for streaming
radio.
Do you mean streaming audio?
ya. :) Guess I think in terms of radio because it was the death of
my local radio station that sent me to the streaming world.
http://www.y100rocks.com/ Modern technology, eh? I've replaced the
5 watt clock-radio in my bedroom with a 150 watt Mac!
Give Audion a shipload of memory (a boatload isn't enough), then open
its Stream Guide window, and move that pop-up menu to "All". Then
sit back and watch... :)
