Hi, Listers!

On the last 5 days, while working on my iMac (400 MHz, DVD, 40 Mb HD, 320 Mb RAM, OS X.3.9 & 9.2.2) it suddenly turned off all by itself about 6 times during those 5 days. And yesterday it just didn't turn on. I'm thinking Power Supply, but would like to hear from the collective wisdom of The List before I buy replacement parts.
TIA
Hugo Diaz

I posted this mssg. a few days ago, but got no responses. I'd like some input before I buy some expensive part, or; Should I buy a complete iMac similar to this one, and keep this for parts, exchanging only the RAM and HD?
TIA once again.
