I don't think its the PAV board. If it was why am I losing my "Chooser" control panel settings? Everyday I have to choose my printer before I click print or I get a dialog box that says: Printer Error.

I finally got tired of carting up the iMac and figured I would have to live with the screwy settings every time I started or re-started the booger. But alas, something changed: When first starting up, the settings are discomboomerated, but after a few minutes of warm-up(?), all settings return to what I have specified. So, something in the box has to get a little heat on it to come up to speed, eh? FYI, I've been living with this problem since 2001 ... Tech said that these boards go out often, and he has replaced numerous ones over the years. If you have a warranty on your machine, take it in for a replacement board. If you're way out of warranty, you can probably find a board somewhere and do it yourself, but me thinks the board is going to cost you plenty. Hope this bit of info helps you out in some small way.
