i have problem with startup. have imac. 10.3.9 system. will not start
up by regular means or various startup discs.
get a grey screen. sometimes white flash then returns to grey. no
apple. no spinning dial. get apple and spinning
dial ONLY with startup disc but that is it. wont go past this. one time
worked with 10.3.2 startup disc. ran disc first aid
but advised of problems. node issue. attempt norton system works. wont
run. called apple. spoke with tech.
after hours of attempts. diff stuff. even. pmu button. nothing. spec is
that it could be ram or mother board problem.
any advice. referrals for repairs. parts.
