Hello again.
I never had to conect two computers together. Now I have. Here's the setup:
iMac G5/Tiger -> 6500/9.1
I tried all there is to be done. Played around with Network and
sharing prefs. This is simply not possible to connect both Mac.
There must be something I do that is wrong but I really can't know.
A few weeks ago, under Panther, I succeded to conenct my iBook
clamshell to the iMac but I could do it only once since I never knew
by which means I did it. A case of pure luck I guess. But now I
really have to connect the 6500 and the iMac. Please, coud someone
help me doing it like doing a list of the steps, like
1- plug, 2 go there, 3 do that. I really can't do it by myself and
the Apple help is not "helping" me.

Basically, you have to use a CROSSOVER Ethernet cable, have Appletalk
enabled on both machines, have File Sharing enabled on both machines.
