I bought a Linksys WET11 ethernet bridge and have it plugged into my PPC
7600 (running 9.1) and it is working flawlessly with my Airport network
(Tiger on G4 PowerBook and Panther on G3 iBook and G4 Tower). I can't

bit tricky to set up and I had to do a little research. But basically the
address of the bridge is 192.168.1.255 (other devices need to be in the same

Yesterday, I just gave away a WET11, because I could never get it to
work. I was trying to get my Rev B running OS 9.x to connect to my
AirPort network: G4 iMac (11b), AirPort Extreme Base Station (11g),
G4 PowerBook (11g), and AirPort Express. I wanted to be able to
access the WiMax internet connection I have going from the AEBS. We
could never get it configured and Linksys Mac OS instructions didn't
match the version WET11 I had. BTW, according to Linksys, the bridge
address is 192.168.1.225. When we tried the 192.168.1.255 we couldn't
get into the bridge.
