Hi folks,
Recently we got cable internet and I set up a wireless system for the
house. I have a USB wireless adapter, Netgear MA111, which I am using with
the D-Link driver on my iMac 400. It works very well, except I can't
disconnect it while the machine is on, even after "quitting wireless
status" or I get a message in 5 languages telling me I must restart my iMac.
So I leave it plugged in, but then the iMac won't sleep; if I try to
sleep the iMac the video goes off but the light stays green and I have to
restart to get everything back.
I tried logging off and then sleeping; this worked the first time but
has not worked after the first time. I tried updating to 10.3.9. Sleep
worked again the first time I logged off, but has not since then.
Is there anyway to kill whatever process it has going so my iMac can be
put to sleep?
TIA,
Beverly
