Recently I became the owner of one of the first imacs that were on the market - one of the Bondi Blue ones. I don't know more details, because it doesn't boot up. The original owner died, and the widow just wanted to get rid of most of the stuff that was cluttering up the room.
So, I was wondering how best to begin trying to get this machine into workable order. I wouldn't _mind_ being able to recover any files off the disk, but if that seems unlikely, that's understandable. The machine hasn't run for probably 5 yrs, so it may not be possible to recover things. My ultimate goal would be to get it to the point of running either Mac OS X or Linux, as well as connect to the internet. Thanks for any tips you might have. -- Tcl - It's the real thing. http://wiki.tcl.tk/ http://cartoonorbit.cartoonnetwork.com/servlet/CZone?owner=9263408 http://www.purl.org/NET/lvirden/ http://www.xanga.com/lvirden/ Anything in this posting represents only my personal opinion. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
