Our 15" 1st model iMac usually works by Airport to the Extreme base station, which is connected to the cable modem. However, now that I'm on a trip away from it, it isn't working. I've run by long distance, our assistance through all the fixes I could think of or that others could think of. This morning I asked her to connect the cable modem directly to the iMac by ethernet. STILL NO EMAIL OR BROWSER ACTION! (pls excuse shouting). The service provider can see their modem on their screens, so it's functioning. I had assistant reboot the iMac after plugging in. What else can we do?
Any help appreciated.
thanks,
-don
