thanks for all the reply's. It's strange that the monitor puts off heat even though the display is actually sleeping. I can tell the display is asleep because the screen looks black like when the monitor is turned off instead just displaying a black picture on a montor that is actually on and running, if you know what I mean. I'm curious why this problem is happening in Tiger, I'll do some research on this just because i'm curious thanks,
