Hi,
I've got an indigo 400Mhz slot loading imac. The problem is that if I unplug the power cable the date is never right when I switch it back on. I've replaced the battery and zapped the pram but it still isn't right.

While replacing the battery I did notice there was no plastic 'clip' like in my older macs. I don't suppose that means anything but you never know.

Is there a way to test it the battery is even producing a voltage inside the mac that's reaching the parts it should? could it be that the battery holder stc is broken? Or is ther an even easier idea anyone has?

     Regards Steve Jarvis
