Listers,
I bought a new mouse for my iMac, upgrading from a crappy Logitech
that I used with the MouseWare extension, and the manufacturer doesn't
support Macs. I use OS 9 just about as much as I do X and I find it
annoying that I can't use the scroll wheel or right click in 9. Does
anyone know of an extension that will give me back this functionality?

New Rule: if you're buying something for use in OS 9 in the year 2005, *check first* to make sure the manufacturer supports it.

You're out of luck with that new mouse. Logitech may still make OS 9 drivers for their mice available, you'll probably have to get a different one of theirs or stick with the crappy one.

If I were you, I'd start spending a lot more time in OS X. The days of Classic/OS 9 are definitely coming to an end. Get used to OS X now while you still have options, because your next computer -- unless you buy in the next year or so -- isn't even going to have Classic as an OPTION. The Intel Macs *will not* support Classic. There's still a lot of time left, but that hourglass has definitely flipped.
