I think it is saying it is compatible with a USB Wireless adaptor, and likely only tested with the LinkSys model. Basically, the TiVo has no built in wireless ability. So you would go to your favorite computer or office supply store, and buy a LinkSys USB Wireless Adaptor. This is a little box with an antenna that plugs into a computer (or in your case the TiVo) via a USB cable. This LinkSys box would be hooked up to the TiVo via USB, and then configured to work with your existing wireless network.
