Greetings all,
I am planning to emmigrate from the US to England in the next few years
and I have a question about taking my iMac. (Why not buy a laptop or
just wait and buy a new Mac once I'm over there you ask? Because I've
checked and it will cost less to air-freight my current computer than
than to buy even a used one of equivalent specs.) The awkward point is
of course power, since Britain uses different voltage and plugs than the
US. Anyone here know what I would need in the way of adaptors? I have a
400 mHz G3 iMacDV.
BTW I'm very sure it will work over there because I actually saw the
exact same model in the offices of Aardman Animation while watching the
behind-the-scenes stuff on the Creature Comforts DVD:)

is half so dangerous as a childrens story that happens to be
real, and you and I are wandering blindfolded through a myth
devised by a maniac.
