Firstly, iBook or PowerBook?

I actually like the iBook better than the Powerbook. I perceive it as more rugged, and I don't do anything on laptops that demands the extra subsystem "oomph" that PBs offer.

is the only difference that the PowerBook has card
slots and the iBook doesn't?

No, there are LOTS of minor differences -- faster RAM, faster bus, better video card, backlit keys and so on. And BTW, the Powerbook has exactly *one* card slot -- but if you're a Verizon customer* or need a little bit of expansion, that PCMCIA slot can be mighty nice to have.

*Verizon has a service for $60/month that allows Powerbook users (with the help of a $150 PCMCIA add-on) to use their phones as high- speed mobile connections ANYWHERE Verizon has a signal -- beats the HECK out of looking for a free hotspot, but obviously this would only benefit people who have money and a strong need for quick, easy mobile internet access.

Secondly, what sort of price would I get for my eMac. It has been upgraded. 1Ghz processor, 768MB RAM, Pioneer 109 DVDRW and 80GB HD. Currently running 10.4.3.

I would think such a machine could fetch $500 or more. It's a really solid computer.

Thirdly, if I decide to keep my eMac what wireless options do I have.

You can stick an Airport card in it (I think the eMacs use Airport Extreme, which would be good news if I'm right) and use any wireless network you care to set up.

If I was to buy a Apple laptop I would want one with at least 1Ghz processor the
rest is upgradeable at a later date.

I don't think Apple even MAKES a laptop that's not at least 1GHz anymore.

Claiming that the Macintosh is inferior to Windows because most people use Windows is like saying that all other restaurants are inferior to McDonald's.
