Thanks for all of the good advice that this community has been able to
provide.

Here's my issue:

Want to retire a trusted old 333 iMac (The Mule) to serve as a jukebox.
32 mb/6 gb, OS 8.6.   Its had a great run but I'm not going to sink any
money into it.  I am trying to move a whole iTunes 6 library from an
iBook running OS 10.3.9 and am running into a compatibility problem.
Can anyone reccommend a good, free converter that will turn the modern
iTunes format (AAC?, m4a?, mp4?) into plain ol' MP3's so I can get them
readable by the player that The Mule runs (Audion)?
