After installing the latest version of QuickTime 7.5.5, the Finder now disappears about every 15-30 seconds. I tried closing all the open windows, but they all came back on the next cycling of the Finder. It keeps losing any changes. Trashed the Finder prefs file. No change. Repaired permissions. Still no change. This is very annoying, as it keeps bringing the finder to the front, right in the middle of whatever I'm doing. Haven't had any major issues with this OS for years...
