unplug the cable modem (pwr and coax) unplug the mac wait as long as you can, at least 1min plug in the coax then the power on the cable modem...wait for the cable modem to show it is ready plug in the mac and turn it on -- I like to believe that people in the long run are going to do more to promote peace than our governments.
