There is a way to do it on a Windows machine. Windows Media Player,
yeah, whatever... Use WinAmp. It has an iPod plugin that will allow
you to transfer and play files directly from your iPod. My son and
daughter have an iPods and use my Windows WinAmp to do it all the
time. I don't allow iTunes to be installed on our Windows machines.
I just don't care for it.
