No limit?  Who exactly told you that?  That doesn't even make sense 
to me -- all ISPs limit their SMTP servers in some way.  It's their 
front-line method of restricting outgoing spam (intentional or 
zombie).

AFAIK, Comcast *does* limit SMTP operations.  The last time I checked 
(about a year ago), the limits were:

   3 smtp server connections per minute.
   20 messages sent max per smtp server connection.
   100 total recipients per email - including to:, cc:, bcc:
   Send stops after 20 bad addresses.

Since then, the spamming problem has gotten worse, so if anything, I 
would expect they've tightened that up more...

If you're going to be sending mass mailings like that out often, it 
might be better to create a private Yahoo or Google Group, or ...
