Well, that's rough, I remember those days, though you can run the iPod  
on a PC, too.

Something else I just thought of, too, the Touch uses USB2. I don't  
know if it REQUIRES it, though...my shuffle works just fine on my  
older Macs, it just takes a lot longer to synch.
