Online video is mostly Flash, so make sure that you have Flash Player and Shockwave both updated. However, there are some sites that use Move Networks and Many videos are simply embedded streaming multimedia. If you are seeing choppiness on ALL sites then the problem is probably your Internet bandwidth. Either contact your Internet provider or set your video to run at lower-then-broadband on the site. Some sites like Hulu.com should always run smoothly if the bandwidth is good. Some TV channel sites have HORRIBLE media playing kiosk thingies- I think on NBC.com I just gave up because I was SOOOL choppy and I knew my bandwidth was good at the time. You probably need a good amount of disk space free for temp files if you always want to run video smoothly, also, so you might try clearing browser caches. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's iMac List, a group for those using G3, G4, G5, and Intel Core iMacs as well as Apple eMacs.
