Nope.

The only solution would be to buy a newer iMac.

That said, many things 'require' USB 2.0 when, in fact, they merely  
mean 'it's much more convenient and fast with USB 2.0'. The iPod  
shuffle, for example, "requires" USB 2.0, but it does work over USB  
1.1, it's just waaaaay slow.

Why are you looking for USB 2.0?
