I just got a 4 GB thumb drive (is this the same thing as a jump drive?). The package says it works with Mac OS 9.1.x+ and OS X. I got it to transport files between my trusty Dalmation and the "new" FlowerPower I just bought. The Dalmation has OS 9.2.2 on it and the Flower Power has 10.4
The thumb drive's icon appears on the Mac with OS 10.4 but will not appear on the desktop of the Dalmation with 9.2.2. Is there something more I need to do when or after inserting it into the Dalmation to make it work? I tried simply inserting it and also leaving it in while rebooting. Also, since I put the Thumb Drive in my Flower Power (with 10.4) the hard drive icon on its desktop has moved down to about the middle of the screen and it remains there even after rebooting. Why did that happen and should I be concerned? As always, thanks in advance for great help and information. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's iMac List, a group for those using G3, G4, G5, and Intel Core iMacs as well as Apple eMacs.
