Well, this is my firt post on the list. My name is Eduardo and I live in mexico City,
I have a first Intel imac version (core duo) and I just installed 10.5. My problem is that the computer doesnt recognize the "iLink" or Firewire connection to my HDR-350 Sony DV Camcorder, I am using an external Firewire HD too and when I connect the camera all the firewire connections dissapear, as soon as I turn off the camera, the HD come again to life. I switched firewire cables and the Harddisk works with both Imac's firewire ports the problem starts as soon as I turn on the camera. I tryied the camera in my Ibook G4 (with 10.5 too) and the computer see the camera without a problem. What can be happening?
