Hello. I got a rev B iMac (233/6MB VRAM/256MB RAM) recently and although everything seems to work, it cannot "Restart". When I turn it on and issue the "Restart" order in Mac OS 9's Finder, the screen just goes totally black, the power button remains green but nothing happens. I have to physically pull the plug... Turning it on, however, works perfectly.
Are there any possible OpenFirmware tweaks I can try/undo, since this machine used to have Linux? Thanks for any help, best regards Bruno A --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to Low End Mac's iMac List, a group for those using G3, G4, G5, and Intel Core iMacs as well as Apple eMacs.
