I would contact HP directly - I use an old HP DeskJet 895cse that I have had for many, many years - since my original bondi-blue IMac - they still support this printer. I expect companies such as HP to continue to support their old products with drivers and such. I am also only recently retiring my bondi-blue AFGA snapscan 1212U from the same era - though AFGA does not make scanners anymore, they still support this one with the driver needed. I am only retiring it for problems with my USB connections shorting out on my Intel Apple G-5 - I have to uplug USB devices, restart my computer when I have too, and plug USB stuff back in, or I get a USB overload message when the computer restarts. I have been told this was a problem with USB 1, and was rectified with USB 2.
