Dear List: I'm considering the purchase of a G5 with Leopard installed; however, since I'll be upgrading from a G3 running OSX.2.8, I'd like to know what problems I'd be facing if I don't have Classic on the new(er) machine. My needs are simple: I mainly use Office, browse the Net, download and crop photos. No music, no videos. I don't need a 20" or 24" screen, or Intel - just an newer OS that will bring me into this century. My G3 is having issues (I back up often) so I'm more than ready to replace it.
I know that this has been addressed before, but I have been unable to locate the e-mails that I so carefully printed and filed. I'm sorry for the redundant question, but please know that I appreciate your help.
