Hello everyone!
Can some one suggest choices for a mac-compatible slide scanner. I
have another mac-enthusiast friend who wants to digitise his 35mm
slides ... and there seem to be very few slide scanners which will work
under OSX. Can you assist? Better still if it available in
Australia ... either direct or via postage!

FWIW I've had success with the Epson Perfection 4490 Photo. It isn't
too expensive, does a nice job and is fairly speedy. The way I had it
set up, it would scan 4 35 mm slides in about 4 minutes.
The software with it is awesome. There's a bit of a learning curve,
but nothing out of the ordinary.
Be SURE to use a darkroom brush to clean slides/ negatives. Dust is everywhere.
