What you get if you go this route is an OS 9 System Folder with all the trimmings not an installer. Just put it on the drive you want to run Classic off of (in OS X). If you want to boot OS 9, you need to make sure the system CAN boot into OS 9 and that the OS 9 drivers are installed on the drive.
