Both sides have a point in this 'dick' thing, if the 'try turning the
sound on' comment is the issue. As for myself, when I saw that comment,
all I thought was yeah, sometimes the sound ain't turned up enough or at
all... that's happened to me occasionally. I didn't see that manner of
comment as a putdown or sarcastic in any way, since this forum is full
of people who are just here to help, and to get help... not to be a
bunch of trolls.
Others who are having a bad day, or are just testy by nature, might see
that comment as smart-ass and sarcastic. That's their problem... they
are on the wrong page.

Try not being a dick.
Woah, that's no way to thank someone for trying to provide volunteer
help in their spare time! It wasn't meant as an insult but as a
suggestion to check one of the simplest possible catalysts for the
problem because often I've found we end up overlooking the simplest of
solutions. I guess I better just filter all your email to the trash
since you are so hostile towards people who help you.

Reading the thread you could not tell your attmepmt at " humor " ( to give
you the benefit of the doubt ) was not out of place and again uncalled for ?
Mr. Innocent, I'm sure.
I know right, I was surprised by his response to my attempt to help
him too. Shocking how some people repay you for your kindness.
