I cannot find right now how many watts the 2.0 Core Duo CPU's in the
first gen Intel iMacs pulled. I could look it up if I knew exactly the
Intel model number of the chips used.

Applecare is up on mine and it's time to do open brain surgery on it
and upgrade the processor. I figure any pin-compatible Core 2 Duo or
Core 4 Duo CPU of roughly the same wattage or less will work.
I'm not so inclined to put something that'll generate a lot more heat
in it...
