Hello all, I am new to this group and would like to know if this can be answered: using an external FW800 HD as Boot drive?
Also, Disk Warrior 4.1 says the CD must be on the internal CD Drive to work. I have done it once and it worked but the sounds that came out of the wonky iMac combi drive and the amount of time it took were unpleasant, so can I boot Disk Warrior on an external FW400 La Cie DVD/ CD to rebuild the tiny[250GB] internal HD? I know I could just try it but I don't know if there would be known negative reactions to that.
