My fiancee has commandeered my 2007 Al iMac and is using it to store her multi-terabyte video collection on it. So far she's filled the built-in 320GB hard drive, and two USB drives, a 500GB and a 1 TB. The point of this post is that she is now running out of space again. We're out of USB ports, and she doesn't want to sacrifice either of the existing USB ports, so that leaves us with Firewire and upgrading the internal drive. Can anyone recommend a cheap but reliable Firewire enclsoure? Is their any real advantage to using Firewire 800? How hard is it to upgrade the internal hard drive? Money is tight, so I want to keep the outlay to a minimum...
