I'm in the middle of sprucing up an old G4 iMac and want to replace the main fan with something quieter. I can't find anything online that tells me how big the fan is. Can anyone help?
I don't think it's actually the fan that is so loud, but the case design. All the air is pulled in through the little slots in the bottom of the case, up through what might as well be an echo chamber, and out the little holes at the top.
But then I could be completely wrong too.
